Another 1,000 people were affected this week, including in the Azure cloud unit. What happened to this place? A while ago this was one of the safest companies to work for. I think that by now people are starting to avoid it due to non-stop layoffs. Things have changed so much in such a short time.

My humble opinion:
Bail out from these high stress tech jobs and work in the public sector. The public sector will give you secure employment, a juicy pension, no overtime, a stable work load, sweet benefits, and the knowledge that you are contributing to society.
I left high tech 20 years ago, it was the best career move of my life.
Good luck to all of you.
Is this true? They keep reopening job postings.
