KKR must have completed its audit of the restated EUC revenue. Now they know the true balance sheet status, they should be prepared to right-size the BU in line with the sales pipeline. The ongoing attrition might make the upcoming layoffs smaller than initially planned. Let's hope they offer a severance package soon. I'm ready to exit ASAP >>>

It did briefly stop working but I can assure you the command was working this year. Only a few months ago.

Why not try it again.

Can any VMware employee run the Slack command and confirm how many are left.

They disabled that a year ago. I got curious myself back then and yeah, they pulled that little app back in October.

They bought 1.5B in ARR for 4B? That's a crazy low price, like insanely low (typically it's 5-10X ARR, this isn't even 3??).

Seems like a good deal for KKR if they can keep the ARR from evaporating entirely. I'm sure mission one is to divorce, as much as possible, from ESX/VMware, further reducing our scope in the DC.

The company will continue under its existing management team led by CEO Shankar Iyer and overseeing 4,000 employees dedicated to technology, partner and customer leadership. As an independent business with a supportive investor in KKR, Omnissa will expand its industry leading platform with new investments in AI, open APIs and simplified product and pricing strategies to create the industry’s first autonomous workspace experience.
