CFS felt it yesterday, 7/11.
This kind of thing is never easy. Horrible walking in yesterday and seeing empty desks (some very quickly emptied out unceremoniously). A lot of very good, high performing people just tossed out, yet still way too many layers of directors/management still hanging around for whatever reason...
20+ year CUSA employee. I got the axe as well.
Sadly it looks like Cannon is following the xerox model of a sh-t show
Hey all,
I am based out of NJ and got the news yesterday. There were no signs or anything as far as I was concerned. I didn't get my package news either. Hoping to see soon.
It’s wild that some Members were allowed to go to Portugal on a company reward trip, but then a ton of people were laid off. Tone deaf at the top.
I was from CSA in Chicagoland and me and was laid off. I was told I was getting severance but have yet to receive any information and locked me out of all canon things within 30mins of calling to inform me.
Anyone with at least a college degree who worked there could tell you that CSA is top-heavy. Too many managers too many senior directors too many vice presidents, etc. etc. All of them who have no idea who does what job and how to execute that work that reports to them.
That portion of Canon will always be top heavy. Canon in Japan needs to investigate how much money side part Pete spends vs how much CSS makes. That’s before you do the books !!
To my former fellow CSA colleagues we will move on to better things and companies who appreciate those who really work- あとで
I too work at CSA and was just laid off.
Hi everyone!
I was at CSA and just got laid off today. Upper management at CSA all should have retired 10+ years ago considering their ages. Blame them lol.
Good luck to everyone affected!
Better places to work out there!
Is it across the board in every department and location?
Yes true. I am o e of the impacted
More today in Boca
Any impact for CVI? Been hearing some rumblings.
CSA layoffs started last week already
