I mean really, why are they such sticklers over this?? If jobs are being done, why such harshness over mandatory 3 days in office. Are other large companies doing the same? Or are they treated more like adults and trusted to come in when they need to and get the work done.

It would be nice if SLT was honest and just told us they have a big old building they have to pay for and a cafeteria contract they have to fulfill. I’m waiting for the day they tell us tough cookies, come in 5 days no exceptions because people keep finding work arounds instead of su-king it up and coming in their 3 days.
Given that the company is banking on employees coming back to the office in order to drive more sales, it's only fair that Staples leads by example i guess

Is not a big deal. Go find a remote job then. Simple.
Easy, because for the most part, the jobs are not being done to the level that they need to be. If you all think that everyone is as productive at home, that’s is unfortunately not the case.
