From an employee perspective there are only busts now. During booms no one benefits other than executives. They get all their stock sweeteners. Meanwhile employee benefits continuously flushed down the cr-pper and salary doesn’t keep up with inflation. Starting salaries for the few new hires haven’t kept up at all.

Good for us, the shareholders. We'll get more dividend now. Employee benefits are a burden.
Why can't the company quickly outsource everything to India and China to get us more dividend !
