Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

What’s the total damage?

So what are the actual totals so far? It seems like they keep laying off in the same locations. When is this nonsense going to quit? When is this constant push for numbers and production propaganda going to quit? It’s not like any of these production reports mean anything, they will still go for your job. Especially if you have a GF and a superintendent that will do absolutely anything to make themselves look good to the CMO. When do they realize that if you don’t have employees why do they need GF and superintendent? The things that make you go hmmmm.

Just wait until Monday or Tuesday, this is simply the calm before the storm, BNSF is in at least 4 major lawsuits, and they are calling for another billion in cuts system wide, this past week wasn’t even the top of the iceberg

Since stuff can be shipped north through presidio texas tariff free through a federal tariff waiver granted by the Biden administration, John Deere announces 600 layoffs to move its production to Mexico, only way to ship large tractors is by rail, and Grupo Mexico, ie ferromex, leases and operates the line from presidio to San Angelo, so if BNSF employees wonder why so much stuff seems to be going to San Angelo, look no further than the federal tariff waiver granted to move goods from Mexico to the United States tariff free. Uncle warren is positioning himself to break up BNSF the same way he did GE, everything will be foreign owned and operated with a BNSF sticker on the side in name only.
