How was y’all’s 1% merit increase? I got 3% at the new company

People are generally pu$$ies. It takes guts to pack up and move on
People leave. Other companies pay way better and have way better bonuses. Six years after leaving and I average 4.5% yearly raises. A real cash bonus 7 to 10k and to top it off they gave me a huge stock grant that the only way I lose it is I choose to leave. They let me go I get to retain it. I die it goes to my wife.
