Is anyone else having an issue with Optum/CHC not given unemployment the correct date that you were laid off? Now you are not eligible for benefits?

I submitted an online claim and uploaded the severance paper. Within a week I was approved and have been drawing for eight weeks now. I only have four weeks left to draw and then that’s it. It’s okay because I’ve decided to retire. I’m in TN and all of their unemployment stuff is online.
My experience in past layoffs is if you get any severance it is unlikely that you qualify for unemployment benefits in my state. It is always a game when to file anyway and not worth the effort for what little it pays out
Same here. I had to file an appeal and now I have to do a phone hearing with a judge.
Yes! which triggered an interview and unemployment asked me only 1 question. exactly which date my manager told me to stop working and that solved the problem. That is all the unemployment wanted to know. Different states have different requirements and my state only wanted the last date I actually worked!
