Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

PLS advice I am one among those who hold SABR and scared

Will SABR touch 10sh ? I’ll lose more than 50 grand if I sell now. What would happen if SABR files bankruptcy ? How long can I wait to avoid drastic loss. Is it true that SABR’s VSP will have some positive impact on its share price . I’ll be doomed if SABR file’s bankruptcy.

You do know you have the option to sell at anytime, right?

Buy more. Every 2 weeks. Financial advice. Don't miss out. Take out a loan.

Your questions make no sense. If you’re playing the market you should already be informed.

Generally, every employee who can sell their vested stocks (no matter if your company is Sabre or NVIDIA) should sell at this moment. Owning individual stocks is risky.
Investments should be diversified. It is an uncompensated risk (owning the whole market is a compensated risk).

Having stocks in the company you work for is an additional concentrated risk (you can lose both your job and savings).

You might think you know more about the company than the market. But this is unlikely. Probably it's the opposite; you only feel better informed. And if you really have important information for the stock price, you won't be able to use it (you could go to jail).

You should really read something related to behavioral finance.

@yro+1tgenHBH Buying more of a particular stock is an utterly stupid idea. It works only for a broad stock market index.

No, you will not lose when you sell. You've lost it already. Most stocks don't beat even inflation in the long term. Only 4% of stocks have a better return than the S&P 500.

I guess we should stick to Monopoly next time, huh? Don't worry, Warren Buffett started with a lemonade stand too.

'Degen' is a slang term derived from the word 'degenerate'. It is often used to refer to individuals who engage in high-risk and speculative trading or investment strategies.

Only Positive thing to come out of SABR VSP is another batch of Happy Former Employees made their Escape... After seeing who took the offer the future does not look promising for the lower level staff left holding the bag....

speaking as a anonymous person on the internet (and therefore as trustworthy as a magic eight ball), sell off now and cut your losses. there's nothing coming out of sabre that inspires confidence.

seriously though, go ask a professional. no good will ever come out of making investment decisions based on random people's opinions
