Our market has received notice that there will be layoffs in July. We won’t know all that is effected for 1-2 weeks.
Not sure if knowing in advance helps or not. It is stressful!!!!!

Optum Care is getting a major overhaul because they don't really care.
When I hear more changes are coming…this means more layoffs. Sadly this company is not the same.
It is true. Wellmed is ending their contract with Landmark in Houston. The contract ends on 7/31. Providers were notified when patients showed them a letter from wellmed. Houston will lose about 80% of its patients. It is sad and a little dysfunctional to have to wait 2 weeks to see if your name is on the pink slip.
