I still see some hiring going on for the cork site but considering they had extremely low in-office attendance do you think that hock will considering closing down this site. Despite telling us that there would be no requirement to come into office in Ireland, they have passively started telling people to come in at least 3 days a week. And I've heard managers are asking their direct reports who don't live closely if they would consider relocation, those still working remotely are worried they are next on the chopping block.

Not in 4 years for sure.
This is the way.

Wen 3k moon avgo? Need lambo
Uh, current price is $1600s. So you are halfway there already.
Seriously though, I sold the day I got my RSUs, in the $1800 area, and I'm glad I did. I don't see Broadcom moving higher until VMware starts making money.
So the chickens I sacrificed for him don’t count?
It’s very simple..
If you want to keep you job come into the office
Else
You’re fired.
This is the language Hock understands.
Yeah sorry love, they did similar in other locations with asking if employees would relocate. Hock said you have to come to the office for the culture to fit. If you do not fit the culture you cannot stay in the community.
Expect to be be fired every day. This is the way!
Mate..no one is safe here. Cuts will come to reduce vmware head count to 7k. Now grab a pint and enjoy the stock price. Don't work too hard (just enough will do) because company will never love you back.
