Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

With all the talk about August layoff

I am convinced it's all guesswork 100%.

Sorry, this forum goes into a frenzy are are rarely correct. The ex dell laid off needs to move on with their lives.

Lol VPs have known August and September for months - the only exceptions are the wfr freezes in large queue managed teams that have a backlog vital enough to impact the customer. Period.

Imagine being so blind working for a company and getting sh!t on everyday that you love it. The culture is toxic there which is why I left. If you stay and love it, you’re a dope.

If you all think layoffs aren’t happening you are fooling yourselves. They’ve been happening all month at Dell and will continue to happen for the foreseeable future. Leadership doesn’t care about the employees. They are trying to get everything out of the US at this point.

Believe what you wish. It's coming and it will be bigger then anything we have had in a long time.

Like last year it started in July/August and ended in September. No idea about what % or #'s but I can say that if my team in ISG is indicative we are going from 21 to 16 after it is all done. Don't think every team will be 20% like mine, but I can think it will be between 10% and 20% is my Educated Guess.

Funnily enough, this forum is often quite accurate... the ghosts of dell past enjoy the sh-t show...

Imagine being so miserable while employed at Dell your only moment of happiness is hanging out on a layoff forum with 35 computers running in your basement to downvote comments on a layoff site. LOL

The only reason people come back is to see what useless leaders may get what they deserve. Life after Dell is awesome. Large stock grants in true technology companies that actually help your future.

Wish you all the best. This one is very large, segments are going away.

I am here to read after/during a layoff. The predictions here are bunk.
It ramps up during the weekends and especially during a holiday week.

It's the ghost of past dell layoffs unable to move on with their lives. Dell will not hire you back.
