Any transition staffs had volunteered to exit earlier and still got your transition bonus and severance package? Was told by my manager it is kinda difficult and need to seek approval at management level....

Just fu--ing leave.
Yes. I was a transition employee. Earlier this year I found a great opportunity at another well-known Silicon Valley company, and the hiring manager there was flexible on my start date. So that day I volunteered for an early exit from BC, via my BC manager, and after a week or two it was approved. I’m told the decision went up to Hock (although, which decisions at BC are NOT made by Hock? Does that man ever sleep?). My new exit date was set for the end of that month, about 2 weeks from when my early exit was approved, and several months earlier than my original exit date as defined in my transition agreement from last November. My exit from BC went smoothly and as expected, and based on the terms of my transition agreement from last November I was paid my full transition bonus based on my original exit date. I was also paid the full severance, and the cash payout in lieu of a June 1 2024 RSU vest. It was a simple and clean exit, and I walked out the door with every penny owed to me.
Su-k it up or walk away. No severance package for you!
