Congratulations. You learned that no one is irreplaceable no matter how long you've been there and mega corps are not as stable as people would like to believe.
More than 500 in one go….. just imagine.
My PM has 2 children, one going to tech, never took more than 2 days off, worked weekends, after hours you name it. He got let go. This is a non serious company. His time was probably better spent spanking the monkey
I assume some products will be going since they just fired the folks who were actually keeping them running at all. Guess those customers don't matter.
Unless due to a plant or office closing, no employer will ever be honest enough to give you a heads up that they are going to rif you. Just be glad you were not escorted out of the building with no time to grab your personal belongings. We are just a numer to these companies.
