Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

GCCs = cheap labour, poor quality

Nielsen are at it again, this time in the UK. Telling us our jobs are redundant only to transfer them to their cheap labour GCCs where quality is next to unknown. How long does Nielsen expect the clients to take this? How long before processes are moved back from the likes of India to the UK because the clients are jumping ship? It's not the first time this happened. Pay peanuts, get monkeys!

I doubt Nielsen will ever bring jobs back onshore. This is their desperation move to save the company because their debt is so bad. The people who bought Nielsen’s debt only want their monetary targets met. They couldn’t care less what happens to the company, just turn over that money by any means necessary and that includes selling off chunks if they can get any buyers.

Nielsen is done for, they’ll keep shrinking down until they’re gone or a tiny shell of what they once were.

Everybody needs to put Nielsen in the rear view.

I don’t think the quality will change with the offshoring at least for my department. It may even get better than what these people are outputting. Seriously I work with the most incompetent people I’ve ever worked with right now and they’re from NY. I wish they would get laid off and new people could come in.
