@1lsu+1tek1jju A lot of low peformers when inflated targets are so high everyone is struggling.
What's the August list consist of? Low performers, non RTO conformers, ones at the top of their level pay scale, Directors, managers who don't have the required number of direct reports, remote employees, seems like must be certain categories that are being targeted.

Don't participate in gossip, use the letters AI less than 500 times a day, don't inflate sales data in CRM, be honest, and only fill out redundant spreadsheets 85 times a day vs the required 100. You will be let go in no time.
Write an angry email to your manager and to his manager. Tell them you don't give a hoot about them and the company.
Last year I just went and asked my Manager for it. She was willing to make it happen.
So give it a shot.
