My motivation is zero. General feel is like we’re floating until we sink. It’s so depressing.

The Intel culture as a technical company is destroyed. Now people work like marketing, sit in meetings, showing slides. OKR are marketing words, not real. TD quality is very low, with many hours of full fab down happening again and again.
Sounds like a horrible place to live and work
Intel is not floating.
It’s already sinking!
RMS Titanic was a British ocean liner that sank on 15 April 1912 as a result of striking an iceberg on her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York City, United States.
The RMS Intel was an American semiconductor company that disintegrated in 2024 through corruption, incompetence, greed, outsourcing/insourcing, and DEI. RIP
congrats on the CPM. I wish I had that opportunity.
- Maybe, but why are you here then?
- Stop being concerned about a substantial fraction of my compensation? Sorry, but I’m going to look at the stock price and intelligently assess my options
- Gratitude is great, but there is nothing wrong with wanting more.
- This is a given. If you’re not excited about work, things need to change otherwise you’re wasting your time.
You must be a mid level manager with that attitude.
I think it is horrible we have apply to be layed off
China will have to buy intel assets considering the rate at which its degrading.
The bottom post has to be someone making 200k+ doing the bare minimum.
You should go and see your a doctor for your metal health. Tell your doctor about Intel working conditions.
Why so depressed mate. Learn some skills like how to date your co- workers' wife while he's away for work
Are people really that d-mb when the writing was literally on the wall since more than ten years ago? Like diversity hire Aisha did you all think you were special? Fu--ing hilarious.
My CPM application was approved yesterday. It's a great feeling!
@qsm - in other words stay in your lane and don’t react to the sinking SS Intel focus on the orchestra playing on deck!
Nice Airplane movie reference!
Intel is not floating.
It’s already sinking!
Free cash flow negative for years with no guarantees of recovery given the lack of customers for big expensive IFS investments. If that’s not enough, we face very dire market share losses to AMD and now Qualcomm in our most lucrative, highest revenue markets.
It’s over. Get out while you can.
Cutty say can't hang. Knock a self a pro slick! That grey matter backlot perform us down...I take TCBin man!
Why don't you go?
Get out of here then. Intel is only a place for id--ts to stay, not a weak person like you to whine or work.
Get off your azz and get another job! It’s not that hard if you try.
A few simple changes might help:
- Stay off TheLayoff and Blind. The content is mostly unhelpful.
- Stop looking at the stock price - it won't change for a while.
- When you get your pay, practice gratitude. Remember the good times at Intel.
- Try to find excitement in what you're working on.
If you do this for a while and it's still rough, consider moving on from Intel. I hope you feel better.
