Heavy lay offs also in the Netherlands. Here they had brought much oversea talent, who will soon lose their settlement rights and lives. This is so vicious.
started in Jan and got laid off as an engineer. Got offered eight weeks and Cobra (but no instructions on how to continue Cobra). One of the senior directors who had been with the company since inception was also laid off, which kind of showed no one was safe.
I tried to negotiate severance, but they refused and made me feel like I got more than I deserved. I got 8 weeks for 10 months.
Got 10 weeks severance pay with 3 years working with priceline.
Anyone challenge or negotiate the severance amount?
Seeing varying amounts of severance here. Had heard many got 4 weeks per year of service but it could vary by country standards. Might be helpful if people can include their employment location country.
I was there less than six months and got four weeks severance as someone in the engineering department.
I only got two weeks severance and was a developer for two years.
Started less than a year ago. Also got only 8 weeks of severance.

Sr role - only 8 weeks severance. Multiple designers, directors, and product folk were let go.
Just got laid off (senior role). Multiple VPs were let go across the whole company. Rumor is 7%-10% of the company were laid off.
