I've heard from a couple people still there that entire teams were RIF'ed with nobody left to do required daily tasks.
Any idea if there is more rounds or this is it for now?
Was let go today after 12 years at the company working on SCO deployments. I had an idea something was up when I started getting weird questions from my boss two days ago.

Digital banking was affected. One comment above said it was not, but many from the DI side.
what did the CEO email say? i was let go today but didn't see the email. they cut my access off immediately.

First a mandatory RTO for all and then the RIF. I guess not as many people left as they expected lol uh oh gotta pay the severance they been trying to avoid. I was not affected but will be quitting in 2 weeks to start a new job with a company that actually gives a damn about their employees.
Only go to Diebold if you are desperate for work! The are the same horse different jockey. We're talking decades of mass layoffs.

I’ve read that this job market is being called the white collar recession. Which means being there for each other is where we should direct all of our efforts.
So, how can we help each other and plan next steps? Any one know of good leads?
The obvious winners in this sp-t were Mike and Owen. Riding into the sunset with their satchels of gold, while Rome burns in the distance. Sr. management can go sh!t in a hat!
Hopefully the RIF packages are ok, take some time and enjoy life, prioritize your family and yourself, lesson learned to not give your soul to any company.
This is the problem with Corporate American these days. The jobs are being shifted overseas but the consumers are here in the US. Do they not understand that? No job for US workers mean these people will not have the money to consume these companies' products, and so more job cuts, etc. The spiral gets larger and deeper. These companies don't care about the American dream, just their bottom line. American just going to deteriorate into a 3rd world country. What corporate greed cr-p is this? Sheesh...
multiple long term employees who were critical path for projects were let go. no warning, nothing from HR.
Most of the positions will be shifted to Serbia. Why keep people in America when you can hire 4 Serbians to 1 US based employee. The writings been on the wall for a while now. This is the “junk drawer” cleanup the ceo referenced in an all hands meeting. For the ones left, invest in your 401k for the company 6% match and do the bare minimum.
With tonight's presidential debate right across the highway from NCR HQ, and the candidates arriving from both North and South, traffic was going to be a nightmare, so the "stay-home" recommendation to employees was at least partially coincidental.
If only everything were so well orchestrated.
At least 1000 voyix employees in the US were let go. The lay off was so big that ceo had to send an email. Usually you won’t even see anything like that coming from ceo. The employees that remaintake that as a hint if you are US based get outta here. No wonder they asked people to work from home today.

it looks like its mostly devs in NA got laid off. no one that i know off in serbia got laid off. kind of su-ks theyre offshoring the positions

Looks like they can get around a lot of the rules when the layoffs don't happen at a single site/location. If they were legally obligated to warn and didn't, they need to provide pay and benefits up to the 60 days the warn notice would have been required for, which I would assume gets covered at least partially in severance packages.

ikr...how does NCR always get away with no WARN notification? Guess they played it smart and stay under the radar by RIFing only so many people at a time and spread it out over time.

I got let go today as well a few engineers, a few from UX/UI, a few from marketing that I know of, apparently there were over 1000 people that have been let go just today!
At least 2 devs that I know off on the EPS team (CFR) - An SWE-1 and an SWE-2. Could be more given we haven't had an "official" team meeting yet.
