Is this place really worth it? What a Mess! Call to Action

This place is beyond an absolute mess. The blind leading the blind. Clueless.
They just acquire, ruin, and dump... they add no value. It's all circular in nature. Leaders don't make decisions they just move the sand back and forth; the don't even know how to Lead. They delegate busy work with no process or end game in mind just to show work is going on. NO process. Unsure of the average IQ of the UHG/Optum leadership and their people, they don't work; they just keep busy.
The goal = increase shareholder value at the expense of healthcare. They care about lining their pockets for departure.
They have absolutely no interest in making a better healthcare system or helping patients, etc.
The culture at every level of this organization is toxic. The conditions are deplorable and debilitating. They play psychological games with employees, create unbearable levels of stress, and don't care about anything but their end game. What an absolute mess.

If only the government, regulators, and the public knew the true nature of this mess of a money making churn at the expense of the US Healthcare system and we the people.

REPORT!! Employees are the eyes and ears of any organization!
Share your stories, let your voices be heard. Call your Senators and representatives (they work for YOU), file reports to government agencies, engage the media (social, TV, Radio).Take Action. Just Do It!

Together you can make a difference. Looking now from the outside in... it's the right thing to do not just for yourself but for the rest of your current/former colleagues.

Navihealth needs re-education on how to handle clients properly. They think they can use judgment over a doctor's order for granting visits!!! This is partial reason contracts are being lost and not renewed ! Get rid of the current leadership Optum! Check their resumes! Many if not all have zero experience in management!! Huge cuts again to them anyhow from a reliable source. They have some really good front line WORKERS who deserve better. Wake up Optum before you lose all the hh contracts!

You pretty much nailed it but I’m surprised you don’t know why? At least two-fold: You have cronyism and you have managers with very little management dimensions! You get a reasonably intelligent person who knows the job promoted because there is no other career path to advance, but that person isn’t prepared to develop other people or make decisions that balance needs effectively. I got laid off and it’s been a couple months so I won’t bother posting much anymore! But this companies real sin is offshoring the wrong jobs and management being too selfish to correct their mistakes. All their issues and compliance violations are due to the offshore staff access control to protected data, because they did it to us they can go to he-l! Fire that pasty woke euro leader and his close reports that also are making mistakes, get my stock price up!

Lets go higher. We currently have a POTUS with dementia and in a diaper people. And woke DEI anti GOD green evangelists that are helping him continue to destroy America. That is what you should be focusing on as crooked no good money driven companies is not new and will always be there. But now and more important for you, your children and grandchildren is this American and Global catastrophe. NOTHING tops this.

The should subpoena the emails between NaviHealth and home and community around SNF auths! I’ve spent so much time arguing over extending skilling , so did my manager for me snd even the directors

There’s a guy named Adam Stone that writes for the Examiner News who has been doing stories the ongoing problems about Caremount, and Tristate overall. He’s a good resource if you think there is something about Optum operations that needs to be shared, and he will keep it anonymous.

Your post is very inspiring. I couldn't agree more with everything you have stated. In my time with Optum I have witnessed so many counts of fraud, and compliance violations its absolutely disgusting! People do it because they have no fear of getting caught, Why? because the leaders allow it and encourage it. It't time to call the regulators and share the knowledge of the day to day goings on.
