One month passed, and nothing happened.
A team of 20 people includes 3 managers. One of the managers is a senior manager, while the other 2 managers report to this senior manager. Each of these junior managers supervises fewer than 7 direct reports. All three managers oversee the same set of projects and repeatedly report the same set of statuses from the ICs. The organizational structure is not flat at all.
Hockalisious!
Managers, directors and VPs have been let go depending on division.
0 managers were laid off so far, for some reason HT prefers to lay off cheap mts1/2/3 who actually do the work.
Hock Smash!
I do think there are some layers of former VMware managers that lack the courage to understand what’s going on in the field, and then communicate that upwards to Hock. There is something off between the messaging we are getting from the top and what is going on where the rubber meets the road.
in two weeks.

No one should be surprised at this point.especially managers… if you spend 2 mins looking at broadcoms org structure you will clearly see how flat it is. It’s mentioned in every other all hand talk or whatever hock call them.
