I can see the management has more faith on vendor compared to Citi own staff day after day.

Management get side income by Vendor consultants. They are paid by vendor companies for hiring their consultants.
it's not too hard to understand, the contractors are easy disposables/temps
To be honest I think citi's recruiting system has some issues.. i see some fte hired know nothing…cant event handle basic stuff….i trained a couple newbie in the past.. omg i even not sure if the resume was made up🤣🤣🤣
most contractors can do good job with minimum guidance
I am FTE and still agree with Management if they are going with Vendor, because I seen people hire contractors and make them to work on new technology once work is done they will terminate contractor and let them go and the Leads show case the work done by contractor as their effort and get credit, it all gambling and cheating org.
vendors are external, its easier to list a list of requirements to external team and will have vendors produce the content than have internal teams create the same product.
It’s True because most managers have personal agenda rather organization goal, middle management no longer trust worthy any more.
