Lots of folks on here say “we’re over worked”, “I’m doing X jobs”, “we’re given too much without the resources”.
Where is this happening in the company? NOC? Provisioning? I&O? Genuinely curious as most offices are empty, people genuinely don’t seem to be working all to hard.
Social hour is right. My team was much more effective offsite. On-site- manager and buddies - hour and half chatfest in morning, then again leading up to lunch, then lunch. Nothing but a huge distraction. Then at end of day - muscle flexing and why isn't this done? Managers sure got the corp speak down when their bosses are around but not actual management.
The best thing about working in the office is I don't feel obligated to work anymore. WFH I would always push super hard from 7am to 5pm to validate being able to keep working from home. Now that they took that away nothing else matters and I can coast :D
If you want to get paid a decent wage, do nothing and occasionally go into the office and if you do go in, it’s for “social hour,” then move to facilities. RIF or not, you’ll have the luxury of job security for standing around and laughing all day.
Another 20% need to be cut for the company to actually run efficiently across all business lines not just the EMT.
Please stop sending me work to do. It's taking away from my 6 hours of tv watching time. I only allocate 2 hours a day to work with 1 hour for emails and the other for watercolor talk in a meeting.

Busy doing personal errands. Taking the kids to stuff, shopping online, commenting on social media.
The way the organization is structured you have 10 people telling the actual person who works what to do and 10 people looking at powerBI to validate that work. So my guess is 20% of work force is really busy and 80% isn't
