CEO gave 10 min stress inducing statement to the company during a normally scheduled All Hands meeting that "unfortunately" a downsize was needed and those affected would be receiving a teams meeting request "momentarily". Then following the statement, as mentioned during, I was sent a Teams meeting requests for a "personal discussion" on severance, benefits, and other stuff with my directory and HR...This after being told several months ago not getting a raise was to prevent layoffs, and of course there were 20 let go a month ago...they seem to be doing it in small groups to skirt the WARN requirements of advanced notification.

The company tanked the day Thoma Bravo walked in. First meeting with employees and what do they talk about - buying into Thoma Bravo. I knew the company was sunk.
After 12 years it was "time to make difficult decisions". It wasn't difficult for them at all. And that process for layoff - that changes every time. I was on vacation and another of my co-workers, who worked from home, was out to lunch when we got our calls.
They don't even let former managers give recommendations. I sure didn't want one given by layoff manager - she only knew me 4 weeks.
I know some of the oversees Philippines and India teams were also affected
How many people were affected today?
6 years and 6 months at RP and immediately following the CEO announcement I got the invite. Never been selected as part of layoffs before so this is new. I am located in the US and they have been slowly getting rid of any position that can be performed in India. I know of 5 others on the CIO operational side that were also canned today. So many years of service and it just ends in a day
I had my meeting this afternoon. I was the only US-based person on my team and, I believe, the only casualty since no one else had a meeting request.

I’m currently awaiting my meeting. They are getting rid of my US based team and it’s being routed overseas. Everybody is getting different separations, some with severance, others with no help
