Why people are so unethical here?

That is also a reflection that they may be receiving similar treatment from their boss. Its a cascading effect. It will not change unless the bosses boss is changed or even higher up the chain.

Because what is ‘ethical’ to one person can be ‘unethical’ to someone else.
That’s why ethics are meaningless, and law exists.
One cannot be prosecuted for unethical behaviour…
Citi’s management thrives in kicking employees down and keeping them in the dark to create a controlling environment. They create an appearance of trust and openness but it’s the total opposite behind the scenes.
With Citi under Lame Jane it’s becoming increasingly much more difficult to survive under those worsening conditions. It’s unfortunate but it’s the new reality. Don’t trust anyone and watch your back, management is out to get you.
To be fair there are many fools amongst the CITI employee base. It’s transparently clear….
The employee is always last to know anything, whether good or bad info. Just to save from worrying, I try to take one day at a time, whatever decisions they would want to make of me or team mates is out the employee control.
