The email this morning from Saavedra was so incredibly tone deaf. Glossed over key concerns many teams/orgs had...Snuck in the fact that many people stated "uncertainty" as a key feeling, but then acted like it was solely around the new direction of the company and had nothing to do with 18 months (and counting) of layoffs, the RTO policy, etc. Our org had low scores/confidence in hybrid policy, job security, well-being, in addition to other items.

I also love how she stated senior leaders will work with people leaders to push Dell messaging better to remove this uncertainty. So it's about "messaging", not layoffs or an id--tic RTO policy, and it's the people leaders who ultimately have to be the mouthpiece and take all the pushback from IC's for decisions made by senior leadership who won't even acknowledge our concerns on pre-scripted, Q&A screened, all hands. They are such cowards.

I can't roll my eyes enough...

From Jenn this morning: “ we have told Dell, and they are listening”. That cracks me up. The most hard of hearing listeners ever!

The justification will be our scores are better than our competitors, so we are good. No RTO. No WFR. Just stay the course.

Reality: That list of compititors won't include the best and most successful companies. We are settling for second tier, at best - and punching down.

My org's overall score was lower than that. Can't wait to hear how they spin it.

Jeff Clarke doesn't give s***. He cares about him and those who tell him yes.

Interesting. Is that a score that's adjusted yearly? Did they explain how they got that score?

How I read eNPS as 48 and the Industry Benchmark at 41 is that "We Su-k Less Than the Industry"

Su-king less than the Industry is still Su-king. Though I am sure that Jeff C will smear some Lipstick on the Pig.

Of course they did. Narcissists are always better….its all about the story. Look at how they’re manipulating the market.

And they changed the industry benchmark to 41 as per top performing companies to show they are better than the industry - clearly lacks transparency to identify the shortcomings and work on improvement.
