"It turned out that only PM/TPM people are affected this time. Engineering were 2 weeks ago and now PM/TPM/PMM. They should have done this at one shot. "

Surprised they kept any. Who needs PM and TPMs when youre just going to milk the he-l out of existing customers?

Confirmed, those impacted were notified today. Seems to be across a lot of different roles; all those I know of in the VCF division.

"Relax, HT will wait until the 1 year VMW severence agreement to end before any heavy hitting takes place."

That make sense, but what is the Broadcom severance package? I know it is still very competitive, isn't it?

"ByteDance, Parent Company Of TikTok, Is Reportedly Partnering With Broadcom To Develop An AI Chip" - Can you just imagine what will happen if US bans TikTok in future ?

Now we are safe since useless Sleepy Biden has approved the BC deal since he + his son + Prince Newsom+Drakula Pelosi has partnered directly with Chinese govt. But in future if TikTok is banned, BC stock will be doomed for good. Sell..Sell..Sell...

What notification? Be clear. If it is related to head count cuts, then expected. Remember reducing vmware employees count to 7k from 37k more aggressively in coming months.
