I will be happy to be among those who are let go. Can’t wait to leave, and I don’t care about job market outlook or anything. I just can’t be here anymore.

Does anyone know anything about Supportive Care with Wellmed?
Specialty Benefits is a mess. They 'retired' a horrible female SVP in the PL division and the new leadership is clueless. Many looking for new jobs.
With the mass layoffs rolling this year the divisions keep expanding the nurse caseloads of RNs.
Anticipate a good number of nurses to be reassigned and others to be laid off.
Navi health - expect lots of nurse and case manager changes.
Landmark/HBC will again take hits of seniority employees pushed in most likely while they push out others- good news Wanda Bryant their director tries.
Coders — bye bye
Clinic based nurses - sorry
Home and Community: nurse caseloads keep growing and IESNP is failing due to Kim Pratt and Sue Miller, New Jersey is fighting the hardest to keep those 2 out of leading any more employees.
ISNP — nurse roles keep expanding caseload size with shrinking patients. Some VPs don’t seem to drive much like Terry Wilhelm.
Pharmacy again in trouble no suprise,
Home infusions lost most its key leaders.
Optum CA just lost its VP to a major competitor
CHA, HSM, SWM and SW have been mentioned for layoffs. Any more details or dates?
@corporate slave - blink twice if you're from workforce or some level of market leadership and have absolute knowledge that CHA's will be cut. If so, all CHA's? and when? July 18th?
Thanks.
Typically, in California, severance pay does not conflict with unemployment eligibility because severance pay does not qualify as wages
Severance is paid in a lump sum. You can collect unemployment 2 weeks after severance hits your bank account in most states
If you're complaining about the amount of taxes taken out of a severance check don't blame the company, blame your local state and federal elected officials for stealing so much of what you earn
Severance is based off years of service, you can find it on $parq. You have to wait 2 weeks after being notified of layoff to sign severance papers, after signing It took about 3 pay periods (yes pay periods) for me to receive it. You can not collect unemployment until the severance time runs out so I went well over a month to get $$.. Then after taxes its a huge hit (keep in mind that they take out 21-22% in taxes). Its such a joke.. This company acted like they cared and wanted to get you hired back on but there is absolutely no support or help...
What clinics are these that will be closed. We don't have Optum or Landmark clinics in the Northeast
I'd be going ahead and applying to get out unless you meet a pretty good amount of severance pay. Most severance pay is not long (like 3-4 weeks), and in this job market that isn't really long enough to find something good. I've also heard some say that severance wasn't paid out on time.
The restructure includes SW, some NCMs; and CHAs
Email went out to employees in South Texas . Clinics will be closed half the day on the 18th of July for a meeting from home as well !!! What does it mean
Email went out to employees in Florida Market. Clinics will be closed half the day on the 18th of July for a meeting from home...that's never a good sign.
Yep. I was there when I quit. You will be fine, get your resume together, find references who will speak on your behalf because they don't give refs based on work quality. This is very important.
