Brian “Straight Talk” McDonald strikes again
So much for farming-out R&D and IT to other "venues" for cost-cutting. Wtg, B-Mac. When are you checking out from Naples FL back to Canada or overseas? Nothing has changed.
All of McD’s cost cutting schemes will be negated by the ransom payout and the resulting loss of business as dealerships do not renew with CDK.
This started when activist investors raided CDK back in 2016 and demanded cuts. Their target share price was $80 or something like that. Laughable then. A pipe dream now.
Maybe the C-suite should be offshored next!
Instead of paying the pirates ransom just have the CDK CEO open a support ticket with the new overseas support team and wait a week or 2 for a response like everyone else...
If they do, others will attack, knowing there is money to be made.
