Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Check your accounts!!!! Money is missing!!!

Hi all - PSA here. If you were termed check your last paycheck stub and corresponding accounts. Optum deducted for 401(k), HSA, DCA, etc. yet NONE of the corresponding accounts have seen those deposits and I have spent hours on the phone trying to find the missing money. Everyone keeps blaming the other and "tickets have been opened" but here we are almost two weeks past my term date and the money is still missing. Also, my ESPP funds were removed from Fidelity and have disappeared. Fidelity said it's up to UHG/Optum to send me my money and UHG said to call Fidelity...so that money is gone now too and no one can tell me where it went. I have never had this much chaos with a layoff before. WTAF!!!!

Unemployment requirements vary by state and most require you wait your award severance time period before you can earn Unemployment. You have your severance notice and other emails that date both your termination and length of severance .
E.g. if you received 6 weeks of severance, you may not be eligible for Unemployment until 6 weeks past your end date

401K trails 2 weeks. I see mine as expected.
Stock awards, read your grant notice. If you are under 55, you have limited time to cash in as stated in your notice.
Age 55, with 10 years of service have additional time. Check you award notice.(in Netbenefits)

With losers like Nathan H. Cumsock and Ricky "Fester" Singh (online trash MBA and Caribbean medical school education) running the Optum/Medexpress side, it will only get worse...jump ship while you can instead of working for these sleazy lying pieces of trash

You can start here: Call Employee Center at 1-800-561-0861 Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm CST, and select the prompt for the appropriate area you need to speak to. This may include benefits, COBRA, severance, etc.

But honestly, I have spent over 30+ hours with Optum Bank, Fidelity, UHC, etc. and no one can explain where the money went. I was hoping today being a normal pay cycle day it would all be deposited, but nothing. Over $700 in deductions is just gone. I am contacting an attorney later today, but I am hesitant to take legal action just yet as I am still waiting for my severance and I feel I would be retaliated against for contacting the authorities about wage theft.

Good luck with unemployment. Optum told unemployment I was working 6 months longer then I was for the company so I was denied unemployment benefits. I had to file an appeal and now having to go to court.
