Stay put, phone it in, use some work time to look for new jobs and do not disqualify yourself from UI or severance by rage quitting. It’s not worth it, and also don’t take this job so seriously, it’s a joke and a game, it’s just a way to keep your lights on.
No because I need a job and the market su-ks. If you want to leave so bad then leave.
I had been feeling the same way; spent about 4 months using some of my work time to job search and interview. I think my boss was well aware but turned a blind eye. I still got all of my 2U work done. I left in advance of coworkers being laid off. Use some time to job hunt!
I did but then I just asked to be considered in the next layoff round---and I got it! if you can get your severance, get it! The job market is hard.
