In my area, we are no longer servicing acute; only chronic patients. My concern is will there be enough work for all the home infusion RN’s? Or can we expect to get the boot along with others?

And don’t count on any higher-ups to be honest with you. They lied to us through their teeth.
Home infusion nurses are so important. I’m sorry that you are having to worry about your job because of this rotten company.
If no new contracts, start asking higher ups and start applying immediately if staying at optum. Tell recruiters you are being cut and they are supposed to help you get an internal interview. Sorry your work environment has to be so stressful. God help us all
Didn’t s huge degree of hone infusion staff and leaders jump ship late kast year?
Nope, they axe medical staff as needed if there’s not a steady caseload in your area you are assigned. They did this same cr-p like a year ago.
