“external more efficient companies” is the key phrase. I doubt the executives pick the right one
There are so many IT or IDE or whatever names organization internally, expensive and don’t deliver on time or not at all. What’s wrong to cut the bloated useless organization to external more efficient companies to do the work. We don’t need 20% of Shell to be IDE IDT
This organization wants to be a trading company only. A few fingers will remain in E&P and very little in M sites. Outsource everything else.
Does it mean the whole IDE (IT Engineering) is going away?
About as great as outsourcing to India …
