Get rid of all 4s and 5s. we don’t need oil in 2030s anyways. Have 3s and above sail the ship!

You really think Shell is only reducing 4’ & 5’s? That’s the tip of the iceberg. Our VP ship has already told staff this will go as high as A’s. JG4 & 5’s don’t say the company sh-t.

Someone took this advice very seriously. Indeed they are reducing significantly from 4s and 5s. 3s and above largely intact
I’d argue the current 2’s and 3’s got the company in the **** position it is today. Shell’s rise, especially in DW, came from senior staff who were laid off during the 2015 bust.

Makes a lot of sense. You really don’t want to be starting a carrier in oil and gas now anyway, so best just to keep the experienced guys for a few years.
