Why in the world are so many of you working so hard for Optum of all places? For the company that's shown its disdain for its employees over and over again? I'm definitely not doing that. I do the minimum, just enough not to give them a reason to fire me, and I'm done. You should try it. It's liberating.

Do the standard, be average. Then take the rest of your energy and time to train for new job. No one really gets compensated adequately for your time and energy in corporate America except the c-suite. The shareholders decide what the workers receive and they say, your work deserve a pizza party.
YEPPPPPPP, ORX Infrastructure was a straight nightmare abomination, I don’t get how they are able operate with the potato managers they have at a truly sustainable level. I’m glad I left when I did, cuz howdy partner!
Exactly. Optum and parent company UHG are making bank and am no longer fooled into thinking I need to sacrifie my morals for patient care. I am tired of being treated like I need to be a martyr for patients. Don’t go because the patients need us. I am working for one of the care management arms and the patients are so confused and boy did some of their care get sc--wed up. So this giant company of compulsive liars have plenty of compulsive believers to keep the lie alive. I’m told I won’t be laid off. Lie. Taking my PTO and quitting. While the idea of quiet quitting seems nice, I’m tired of doing this dirty work.
Thanks for the career advice from a layoff site. Do you have any advice for dental care?
Hard to do the minimum when the “minimum” is constantly changing upward requiring more and more AKA goal post changing forcing it to change to cover more and more with less and less. Isn’t that right ORX Infrastructure 👀👀👀
Hard to do the minimum when you are working with patients, they do not deserve to suffer due to Optum's failures....
