Thread regarding Konica Minolta layoffs

4 years in the red… what’s next?

I’ve seen a lot of branches failing collectively across multiple markets. They want us to focus on net new business however we are not in a position to strategize effectively and take down existing dealer networks that have dominated our markets for years.

With the 2400 gone April of this year, the partnership with fujifilm, and the failing demand of print as an industry, I can’t help but wonder how they plan to dig out of this hole.

I feel like upper management is speaking in cryptic messaging and I don’t have any direct responses on HOW to fix the issue or grow accordingly.

So, current and former KM AE’s, SAE’s, MAE’s, what are your thoughts?

Nothing ever changes does it?

Well you reap what you sow. ….

You can play the numbers game until you are blue in the face, but the end result will still be utter chaos, wrapped in lies and 1/2 truths.

Many prefer it more….honest …

Amazing how people here follow straight to bottom as the company degrades.
You would think people would leave before they hit the desert floor. 🌵🏜️

Talk about Bamboozled and Bewildered,
And the Bosses tell you to do more with less, but have no clue what the customer expects and was promised.

Truly a winning combination. Don’t forget the popcorn 🍿 for the next meeting of the philanthropic leaders.

Now Ricoh is going to buy part of this backward company… they can rename the machines. Hocir. (Hock ear)

Sp-t. Hocir. Patoohee. 😮‍💨
Another winning combination… I’m sure.

"2400 gone April of this year"... the KMBS public website for the November 5 results (slideshow) shows they let go about 2,100 so far and the 2,400 is yet to come in 2025. What's next? More red years of loss.

The only field managers left are ones that have sold their soul to the devil, long ago.

Anyone with an IQ slightly above room temperature, would have left here many years ago.

But everyone here is completely scared of their shadow and are destined to go down with this ship.

I personally have much better things to do with my life, just wish people would wake up and realize what’s going on here, and move on while they have the chance.

I'd be curious to see how my old St. Louis Branch ends up. They're in a coverage Siberia of sorts geographically. The place was a dumpster fire for pretty much the last decade and a half. I left in 2018 (was the first of MANY of the Field Tech dominoes to fall) and I cant see it being either retained by KM nor looking attractive for any potential buyer. So glad I left when I did...
