Every time there's a new threat of layoffs I get mad about all the hard work I gave this place, all the holidays and weekends I worked, always bending over backwards to get everything done, and I always say never again. I say I'll give back exactly how much I receive, which is not much. Then layoffs are over, I relax, and I fall back into my old patterns. Rinse and repeat. If all of us decided to stop giving our all to a company that couldn't care less about us, maybe they'd notice and things would change. Not like this, though. Not like this.

Plan to push back, and hard.
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
You are an old Intel generation probably, still acting according to dead “Intel culture “, that not exists from 2011 at least.
Work is a four letter word !
Stay out of very high debt in everything you take on, including the house mortgage !
Here comes the Gamut at the Intel workplace again and again ! ELTs like to suffer instead of PPP each and every down in every quarter of the football game ! Winning teams that innovate and produce results and products are hard to find in this place.
Budgets are mismanaged ! Gaudi Ai or Bust !
Scam your way into a good paying position, barely work, win.
OK don't skewer me for this. I thought of something funny OP said:
"always bending over backwards to get everything done"
It's time now to bend over forwards.
Your home life needs to be more important than your work life. No-one ever said they should have given more time to "the company" on their death bead. Understand that you have been indoctrinated by the capitalist's machine and change your action accordingly. Hard pass to overtime, holidays and weekends.
You never learn, do you?
Once ISP stops being scary 💩 don’t work anymore; and why is leaving with a package scary when the whole ship is going down fast?
It’s well and past time for every intel employee to take employment into our own terms. And if they don’t like it, and if only a few blades of grass stick up for the lawnmower, we can just take our ISP’s and GTFO
Intel’s done a cr-ppy job of pulling employees through knotholes for 💩 for at least 25 years…
Say no to torrid and mean it. Anything worth doing it worth doing methodically. Your boss gives you a rush job tough patooie on them for not planning ahead better
Work to live, don't live to work
Name a company that really gives a sh!t about its employees. I don’t mean better compensation. There isn’t a company around that won’t shed employees to improve the bottom line. So work hard if you enjoy the work but don’t expect it to get you anything.
I just want to keep my job. So I can afford my current lifestyle and activities.
You live a lame life is the meaning of life to you is a damn job, bruh.
There’s more to life than a stupid job… also, corporate loyalty is dead… take those two to the bank kiddo.
Maybe find another job that is more rewarding.
Don’t make the job you have the whole purpose of your life. Once you learn that work is just that, you will live a happier more fulfilling life.
It may be better to ignore what happens around you and just do your job and be yourself if you cannot leave for some reasons.
