On risk, many of us wish to be laid off soon. Most of us are not being considered for anything despite having 2 and 3 end-of-year reviews. I think most of our roles will go abroad. Everyone is quite dissatisfied so we might as well get a package and end this nightmare

Hi, we work in a corporate capitalist world. Everyday is a risk of layoff if the shareholders aren't scrapping enough millions together to fund their yacht and planes.

In Janes “ask me anything” circulated via email yesterday, one of the 5 questions she picked to answer was “Will there be more layoffs”. Of course she answered the question in a round about way, but the clear answer was “Yes”

Layoffs are still happening every week. Individual people are getting tapped on the shoulder all the time.
Don't ever feel totally secure in this place.

Should we consider ourselves safe for at least a while?
