With support moving to a third party soon, how does it impact us engineers in ITC? Will we lost our jobs or will the third party vendor absorb us? We need to have alternate plans in place.

The D-Day is getting closer. Please stay strong friends. We will get through this. Keep up-skilling and we should be fine. Don't worry much about customer relations and knowledge etc as the company does not give a Sh** about it. Just be happy and contend that we made some free money for nothing all these years.
When it happens, all the knowledge, customer relationships leaving. Won't know what is lost until gone.
in similar instances the new firm retains moderate percentage of employees, then makes cuts once transitioned. managers decide who's on A list vs. others.
Ya run was good. Rest and vest, and if you were smart you're sitting on $1M extra coin.
always have a Plan... ALWAYS.
Totally agree and second it. We all need to really thank hock for giving us this run for such a long time. Most of our loans are cleared now. It would be greedy to ask hock to give us more time. Instead of cursing Broadcom, lets all try to get contacts with the partner and maybe they may offer a job to us.
Team we all know that this is a bit upsetting, but it was bound to happen long way. We should be happy that Hock gave us a free run for so many years. As out manager suggested, lets all have our Plan B ready and when it happens we should be ok. Jobs come and go, and remember this was a dream run for all of us. Not one of us expected to see this kind of free money for doing nothing and lets all be thankful to Hock for this.
Talk to the manager, he has all the information.
