My guess is storage market is consolidated like it was 15 years ago re 3PAR, Isilon etc.
Dell EMC to NVDA or Broadcom
Netapp to Google?
Everyone keeps saying your have to move the AI models to where the data is stored.
We shall see.
Broadcom could be interested in Former EMC side of Dell. there is some good money to be made there, the Data Domain/Avamar/PPDM piece of the business can have very good margins.
I would wager it would be to someone like Computer Associates which is experienced in Milking cows until they can't deliver any milk.

LMFAO at the post below.
Guess who owns Computer Associates?
😂😂😂😂
No way would Broadcom buy Dell Storage. Broadcom makes money from selling chips and adapters to hardware manufacturers. If they had their own hardware manufacturer then other manufacturers would look for someone else to provide them with chips and components.
If Dell were to sell it's Storage business I would wager it would be to someone like Computer Associates which is experienced in Milking cows until they can't deliver any milk.
it’s very common and the same kind of hope all people think when they already know that this will not happen
No way.
