Pay Teammates or Sponsor a Golf Tournament

I cannot be the only one that thinks it’s ridiculous to invest over $200million on a golf tournament instead of investing in teammates. The people that keep the doors open. Instead we will continue to offshore and create hardships for people that poured their time and energy into the company they work for.

Could have given 20,000 people a $10,000 raise … oh well

Sponsoring a Pickle Ball and Co-----e tournament would probably have been just as effective and a whole lot cheaper. Would have had some funds left over for some Tech investments or to fund the bonus pool

Ah, sponsoring PGA tournaments...right out of the marketing playbook from the 1980s. Does someone need to let Bill know that PGA viewership and tournament attendance has been dropping significantly?

The goal of sponsoring a pro team/event is to increase brand awareness. If you rank dead last in customer satisfaction, and clients are leaving in droves, wouldn’t you want to fix that before airing your dirty laundry to a wider population? What benefit do you get from that?

This executive team wants to be recognized as “big-time bankers” so bad. Kind of ironic that was Kelly King‘s downfall as well.

Why do you think they laid off those teammates. So they could have enough money to do this and get bigger bonuses

You are not the only one, but it appears executive leadership’s ego rules. This is an ego trip in my low on the totem pole opinion.
