Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Where can I find more on the Unionizing?

There were some posts in the past regarding this. Maybe taken down? I have been discretely trying to find more information about this but people I trust at work seem to very tight lipped about it.

There is about 2 months to go before my bargaining power potentially goes to 1/15000 of what it could be. I will completely on my own and started to get anxiety about this.

As a shareholder please unionize. Will quickly bring the breakup & end of intel & might actually do so before the company goes bankrupt

If you want to pi-s your money away to a union, take the VSP and go work for a company that has one. I hear Starbucks is hiring. At least until they close all the unionized stores.

Just point out there are fabs out there that are unionized already. Tower in Newport Beach is one example. Used to be Rockwell many moons ago. But they are still full and the union still there

In the 1950's and 1960's, auto workers were the high tech workers of the day and learned to Unionize when wages and safety lowered to dangerous levels. Now Intel workers and App developers are realizing they aren't special high tech workers anymore, meed a Union, and CEO's under a Capitalism system doesn't care about you.

Might be better to try and unionize when the company is prospering.. You have little to no power trying to seize a ship when the hull is breached and taking on water.

The time to unionize was when BK took charge.

If the fab in Ohio ever opens, I give it 1 year max before the whole company is unionized. Then Intel will move to Mexico. lol

Unionizing at this point would be like pouring a jar of fleas on a dying man.

Someday you all will realize that the end result of unionizing is the power the union leaders accumulate, not the power of the members.

2 unions were approached in Ireland recently.
They weren't interested in taken on Intel as not enough would sign up the last attempt.

If there was an active movement to unionize you would know about it. There would be union people outside of the sites just waiting to give you information. Since there isn't I doubt much is actually happening with the exception of a few people posting on this site. If you are really interested and think others are too contact some labor unions and see if they are interested. I doubt it it but you should ask.
