I've overheard that the company will sell the fiber division soon. What will happen, and when? Will we lose our jobs? I'm tired of waiting for the hammer to drop.

You must be new because the writing on the wall with fiber has been going on for at least 2 years now. Tower and SC growth was still increasing while fiber had been stagnant and not as profitable due to their turnover with customers. Pay attention to the cuts in departments and you can see we're abandoning growth and new verticals in the network space. Crown will gut fiber/network at least 1 more time before a sale. That will be your clue.
Someone like yourself will absolutely lose their job. Unquestionably.
Wow a new and original post. Here is what I do know. You won’t know when till it’s public announced. The people that do know make way to much money to risk posting or talking about insider trading. After is sold you still won’t even know about your job bc it’s not a house closing. They don’t just turn the keys over. So if this bothers you it will continue for the next 8 months. So might be time to find a job.
