Folks, I just recieved some startling news from my very high contact.
She said that the majority of the layoffs in sales have been completed next week the focus of the layoffs will shift to engineering. She didnt mince words but she used the term "Cataclysmic event"

The cuts from the quarter had been in discussions since Q1. It was the worst tkept secret inside Dell.
If history is any indication, if they cut, the next round of layoffs probably won't be until Q1 when the new budgets get set for the year.
