@2ujh+1tWSoEUH A totally failed acquisition. No, not all Legacy Dell leaders left, not at all. But regardless, the cultures never meshed, this whole site is clear evidence of that.
Go talk to our executives about Dell vs. EMC people. They still call “legacy” Dell or “legacy” EMC. If you talk about mergers they correct you and say it was a buy out.
They clearly stated they wanted to get to all Dell management which they did. Now we are paying for it.

For those of you saying that the layoffs are over, no they are not. I know of 3 engineers in Europe that will be notified Thursday 15th and will need to finish by the end of the month. Please stop posting nonsense and just post facts.

100% confirmed. Notification 9/16 out by 9/20. Dell is targeting EMC people, high cost areas and high paying. Ideally close to retirement.
It’s 100% discrimination and I hope they get what’s coming to them. Terrible company with terrible discriminatory leadership and absolutely useless HR and ethics commission.
Actually, I've been told that folks impacted will be notified Sept 9th. Names were submitted July 17th.
