Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

All ELT members saying you don't need to do more, we will reduce work

Does it mean those are working 1 hr a day can continue to enjoy the work life balance?

Every time the question "Do we have to work more?" Is asked, the answer is "No, we are going to reduce what we are doing".

Reminds me of my final year at Intel. The new director repeatedly promised to make our jobs easier which he did.

He followed through on his promise by laying most of us off.

I know a hatchet man when I see one, so I wasn't surprised. In fact, I was jubilant about it, got a nice severance package out of the deal plus I got to spend an entire year preparing for what I knew was coming!

Point here is, reducing your workloads is a VERY BAD sign.

Reduce work? MT's already take 4-6 hours of breaks per shift.....how are they supposed to work less?

Intel Extreme Lousy Team should be all fired along with many managers doing nothing but power points
