Both my primary physician and my Cardiology Group will be Laid Off.
I will be leaving Optum and switching to another provider as soon as those doctors find a new employer.

For every physician, NP, PA or other provider, there are 10 "business people" with fake or marginal degrees, who do nothing for patients, and prob "work from the beach" much of the time. Optum doesn't care about patients or providers. Patients are leaving in droves as they know the company is garbage.
Why would anyone think that the CEO who is not here would care about Americans. He is famous for the largest takedowns of takedowns by the Justice Dept. He was disgraced and probably holds a grudge.
Leaving is the best you can do, but know they DGAF! This is an unAmerican company that has continually offshored jobs to countries that are not our allies in any real way. They spend so much money advertising for new business and enriching leadership with consistent bonuses based on consistent profits, they need to cut “human capital”. But sadly they are too big to fail and will go on just fine without us!
For Optum, business and profits come before everything else.
As a whole, (there are exceptions I'm sure) from middle management on up, Optum is loaded with people of low morals, unethical behaviors and actions.
