HR is also reducing grade levels. This means lower bonuses and you'll be over midpoint. If you don't like it, you can take a severance package.

18’s get stock each year, 17’s and below only get stock if they have a 1 or 2. That’s a big deal.
I would hope that anyone being downgraded would have the option for severance. I am happy to be a good soldier, but if they took my level down, I’d rather be laid off and go to greener pastures

Funny how everyone else is taking the hits but none of the ELT and Leaders groups have taken any sort of pay cuts first before dipping into those actually doing the work. So glad I left recently.
