DELL went to telco as US GOV wants US produced critical infrastructure and US currently has zero providers for carrier network

its also at the core of current data-centric military doctrine

in both - DELL is prime supplier of all computer related and its massive opportunity - however likley thru the merger than organic buildup

It's a failing business and should be closed for good. We do not have money to compete against Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung in the RAN space.

Several cuts in Canada, US and Egypt. They just keep coming everyday.

Looks like all the telco in US are safe.

Why did we even get into Telco? This business makes no sense.

Yup. Multiple managers and individual contributors in Canada have been impacted. Not sure of the total number.
