Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Why are you posting under VMWare. That company does not exist.

I can see why people were concerned about layoffs at VMWare before the acquisition, but c'mon guys. VMWare does not exist as a company. Y'all are concerned about layoffs at Broadcom right now. Let's post on the right board from here on out...

Broadcom acquisitions as just fodder for private equity investors, stuff to dehydrate and put the shriveled husk on maintenance.

There's no real "unifying" going on tech-wise, so why trot over to their page.

BC paid $70 billion. Hockey Tan fooled himself and entered into debt trap forever. BC can buy another cr-p company Intel too in coming days.

Are all the VMware scam "leaders" only minions who don't know what is happening upstairs?

Yes

Broadcom VMware acquisition is just a simple private equity rollup operation. Silverlake, Dell and others. No need to worry about culture and other craaap.

Does anyone know of any VMware "leader" in the Broadcom c-suite? I don't see any VMware leaders in the SEC insider selling notifications. Are all the VMware scam "leaders" only minions who don't know what is happening upstairs?

Hock still treats it like a different company.

Mark the date Sep 18th on your calendar. That is the day when the fed will cut interest rates by 0.5%. Not the usual 0.25%. That is because the economy is in deep doo doo. The fed has already telegraphed this message using its messengers. This will be an acknowledgment by the fed that the economy has gone off the rails a long long time back. That is why you see the gargantuan layoffs at Cisco, Intel and Dell.

Expect a massive layoff on Oct 5th when Broadcom reports. This Broadcom layoff will be so epic that its going to one for the history books. Broadcom is so deep in horse manure because of the 70 billion in debt.

Interest rates are not going to come down anytime soon. The inflation demons are still at the gate. We saw inflation increases in March and April.

Next cuts coming soon after Vegas event. Credible sources close to Sr.Directors received this communication already. By Oct 23rd, significant cuts. Till then enjoy Hockey show.

Yeah. Join the cult. Hock is going to open the doors to heaven soon. You will be delivered from your miserable existence. Happening on Oct 5th. The day the quarterly results are announced when the clock strikes midnight.

What is Broadcom culture anyway? Its just a Chinese HT cult. VMware had EPIC2. Broadcom elevated the bad apples in VMware to leadership positions. The sc-m of the earth was quickly identified and elevated. But the 99% was raised on EPIC2. I am not sure people can become bad apples in a day.

Who cares anyways ? I hope thread creator is not a spy from Broadcom corp from China.

btw..what is up in dog and pony show in Vegas during vmexplorer ? Same old AI cream on top of stinking pumpkin cake ?

Attendees just enjoy the strip , bunnies and ranches. Don't take anything seriously in vmexplorer. Since it is one useless event. Management knew it from the beginning.

The layoff board you post on determines your happiness and assimilation with a new company?

OP trying extra hard. Once in a while you have this discussion. Why do you even care? If people are going get laid off in a few days/weeks/months, then why assimilate? I know Broadcom people are jealous of VMware people who got tons of RSUs and got paid tons of cash and then the stock doubled.

To be fair, I checked
https://www.thelayoff.com/symantec and it looks like comments/participation stopped within a few months of their acquisition.

https://www.thelayoff.com/ca Still shows a bit of activity, but not much

So it seems that as far as assimilation, VMWare is trailing the pack.

Keep a firm grip on unreality. Just remember, Denial aint just a river in egypt.

'VMware does not exists indeed. VMware stopped existing when Pat Gelsinger stepped in - f clown. It was a good coasters firm, ok pay, good rises and no work - only pretending for impact.'

Same VMware leadership will now abuse Broadcom's money - nice!
